Kumar Abhishek’s favourite toys as a child were a soldering iron and a computer as he figured out that he could use them to build more awesome toys. He holds a Bachelors’ in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering and a Masters’ in Visual Information and Embedded Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. Abhishek is currently working as a Software Engineer at Google in Bangalore.
Abhishek loves designing and experimenting with embedded electronic circuits. He picked up the soldering iron while he was still at primary school and built his first 8051 microcontroller-based project when he was in 6th grade and since then he has worked on personal projects on a wide variety of embedded platforms. He designs hardware which he sees turning into products in the near future.
